One more act of kindness has been done by Manava Vatsalya Foundation
Mr. Ganesh Masam (38) a resident of Prabhadevi who was admitted in FAMILY CARE HOSPITAL, Mahim due to cardiac arrest. He took the service only for 24 hours and he had paid the bill of Rs.38, 000/- for that. On the basis of the ECG report and 2D Echo doctor advised him for Angiography and 2 stents to be implanted to remove the heart blocks which would cost him around Rs.4.5 lacs, which was unaffordable for him.
On the evening of thursday 8th July 2020, we had received a call from our well wisher Mr. Sai Sagar Dornala (Bhiwandi) requesting us to help this patient. We have spoken to patient’s family and understood the entire situation. The MANAVA VATSALAYA FOUNDATION TEAM started calling the BMC Doctors and staff for the treatment. Due to Covid-19 the hospitals are overloaded and it may take time for the angiography and stents implantation, which will be a great risk to Ganesh`s life. We spoke to Mr. Dinesh Konda who works with several NGO`s. He advised us to speak to the Founder President of Sankskar Seva Santha Mrs. Pinky Patil. She is a kind hearted, dashing, dynamic lady who guided us to go to Shah Life Line Hospital, Malad for further treatment.
On friday 10th July 2020, Ganesh was admitted under Mahatma Phule Aarogya Yojana and his angiography was done. On the basis of Angiography report the Doctor advised him to undergo surgery to implant stents. Due to some technical error in the ration card they had to wait till Monday. On Monday 13th July he was shifted to Life line Hospital, Mira road and was successfully operated. Only one stent has been implanted and doctors advised him to take medicines to dissolve the other block.
*Ganesh was hospitalised for 8 days in Life line hospital and on Monday 13th July he has got operated and on Friday 17th July he has been discharged from the hospital without paying a single penny under the scheme including surgery, hospitalization and doctor’s fee.*
*We are so happy to give a new life to Ganesh & bring a smile on his & family’s face during the COVID pandemic.*
Manava Vatsalaya Foundation has helped the patient for coordinating with NGO`s, Hospital management. The MVF team also stood by the family by giving moral support. We helped Rs. 8000/- for his angiography test.
We would like to Thank Mr. Dinesh Konda for guiding us to talk to Mrs. Pinky Patil.
We would like to convey our deepest gratitude for the efforts put by Mrs.Pinky Patil, without her guidance and support it would have impossible for us to help Ganesh.
Our Sincere Thanks to Life Line Hospital Management, Doctors, staff and Akash for their kind Co-operation and successfully operating and sending Ganesh back to home safely.
